After minimal practice and with no idea of what we were doing the 'NO ISSUES' team headed of to Lake Charm for our first point score and the beginning of what was to be a very steep learning curve. An embarassing lesson was learnt during our first race on the importance of a good set of handles that dont fall apart on the start line...Doh.

Getting past that and with a little more practice under our belt we then headed off to Lake Boga for our 2nd point score where we managed our 1st win. Shame it wasnt for pnts.

Then it was back to Charm for Rnd 3 with the full team.
A very eventful 1st race saw Steve take a nose dive in bumpy conditions and GUNNA sink just before the finish line.
Thankfully the GUNNA crew escaped with only a scare and the boat was safely recovered to race another day.

Point score 4 had Dave Bishop at the wheel and after a holeshot from pole a small matter of slack rope at the 1st turn bouy again saw Steve in the drink again, restarting and finishing slower, minus busted goggles.

The final Point score at Boga saw Steve head up solo where he again recruited Bisho and Phil Turner in what amounted to the race for the championship. Deciding it was best for Dave not to be kicked out of the house we watched from behind as Dale from TANTRUM fell handing the Quickchicks the gold cup.
